Zipporah's commitment to fostering well-being and resilience is built upon a diverse professional background. She has been a musician for over 30 years and began teaching music over 20 years ago. She also has extensive experience guiding individuals through periods of change and challenge. Zipporah has dedicated years to guiding hundreds of diverse students at universities. She has trained and developed new peer coaches, cultivating their ability to guide and support others effectively.
Her musical life began at a young age, with her primary instrument being her voice. She has also studied piano, saxophone, and violin. Although she primarily specializes in powerful ballads, Zipporah has broadened her vocal range and style to include opera arias and musical theater with assistance from vocal coach and trainer, international opera singer Anna Siwiec-Sitkowska.
As a music professional, Zipporah has performed in various venues and events and taught in various music schools, programs, and centers. Her earlier experiences included specializing in music production, having created numerous custom instrumental and performance backing tracks. Drawing on her extensive experience, she has also provided vital behind-the-scenes support to musicians, including coaching, management, and logistical coordination for gigs and events.
Zipporah is continually educating herself on the connection between music and our spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical well-being. Professionally certified in Trauma & Resilience and with a certification in Mental Health First Aid, she helps others find healing and empowerment through the power of music, a powerful tool for emotional well-being.
Through singing, she guides individuals to:
-
Lower cortisol levels and promote relaxation
-
Express emotions through song
-
Engages multiple brain areas to enhance memory and focus.
Without taking on a therapist role, she now supports those who want to use their voice as part of their self-care and self-healing.
Whether you're a seasoned singer or just starting, she creates a safe and supportive space to explore your voice and harmonize your mind, body, and soul.
