During my years teaching music, I noticed that for clients who received vocal coaching from me to prepare for a gig, some of the issues that came up were self-confidence or doubt about reaching vocal goals. But, if you were taking singing lessons from me for non-professional reasons, many adults were taking lessons to relieve stress from personal or professional life. This led me to embark on a personal journey to discover the connection between singing and well-being.
As professionally certified in trauma and resilience and mental health first aid, I've learned about the different tools that can help you deal with emotional and psychological responses to distress including anxiety, grief, pain, and exhaustion. Clients receive personalized guidance tailored to specific needs, goals, and support through coaching. Music, particularly singing, is powerful for emotional healing and well-being.
